What is Skyline and Normunds Vitols?

It’s a bit ironic to call this page “about us,” since Skyline is still a solo venture for now.
My name is Normunds, and I’m the founder. Originally from Latvia, I moved to Amsterdam and started working as a handyman in May 2024, helping people with terraces, interior renovations, and custom-built furniture.
Though I had skills in many areas, I soon realized it’s nearly impossible to master everything. That’s why, starting in September 2024, I decided to fully focus on built-in furniture.
A few months into this new path, I found my real passion—attic cabinets under sloped roofs. It all started after a particularly exciting project in someone’s attic. These cabinets make great use of the otherwise “lost” space under 150 cm high, and one built-in wall can store as much as two to three standard wardrobes without making the room feel smaller.
To deliver the best quality and price, I’ve chosen to go deep into this niche. It reduces complexity for both me and my clients—and creates something truly valuable.
